Most of you who are interested in my blog probably already know, but Papervision3D has won the coveted (I dunno, is it?) .net magazine award for most innovative project of 2008. This truly speaks to how far the engine has come – and is an awesome congratulation not only to the development team, but also the huge community that has made Papervision the project that it is today. Over 18,000 people agree that papervision really does rock.
We’ve seen some amazing projects come out this year, and with the release of the CS4 API, things are only going to get better. No, I don’t have a release date, but I can tell you that its going to be grande. There is a core refactor that will really standardize the engine with normal 3D engines (something not possible before). I’ll be able to really put some time and thought in over the holiday – so get ready!
Anyways – I could babble on for days. Congrats to everyone!
