I've been doing alot of experimentation with adding effects to Papervision lately - and decided to take it to the next level and build it into the core functionality. Hopefully it will be ready for inclusion in the 2.0 release - but there will likely be some changes to how it is currently set up.
I'm definitely planning on having it together for the NYC class Dec. 1st & 2nd. Come and you can get first dibs on playing with it. If you haven't signed up yet, its not too late - you can sign up here. For more info on the class, check out John's post (and all his other posts/demos) on what will be taught.
Here is a demo of some of the effects you can do right now. This is all built straight into the renderlist - it is simply a matter of adding the effects you want to your material! Adding and changing these effects is INCREDIBLY easy now - only a few lines of code! I only wish I had developed these classes sooner for my experimentation!

Enjoy! Come to NYC and get it first!

Wow!!
Is it possible to see snippets of your code as I have no idea how you did that…
Which effect did you use on the material?

How did you do the glowing effects on the particle? I’ve always wanted to do that kind of effects.
